The pretty building next to the "castle" in Niederwald VS was once a typical Valais farmer's granary ('Spycher'). After the careful reconstruction, there is a kitchen-cum-living-room on the upper floor and a bedroom with shower and toilet on the ground floor. For two persons the house offers an ideal accommodation to enjoy the togetherness.
Owners of the Spycher is the family Sonam and Martin Brauen of Berne. They stay in the 'Schloss' next door when they are in Niederwald. The Administration is taken care by Ivo Voegeli, a retired engineer, living near Zurich. Therefore, the correspondence is mostly over the internet.
