The breakfast buffet was abundant, local specialties. Also, lunch and dinner very good. We did some snowshoeing in the area, directly from the hotel. We ended the day with some relaxation and warming up in the hotels newly remodeled sauna. The dinner very traditional with an innovative flair. We highly recommend this hotel for charm, relaxation and getting out in the nature nearby.

The family-run Hotel Edelweiss is located in the center of the charming village of Blatten in the Lötschental valley, which is part of the UNESCO-protected Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn area. Most rooms have a balcony and you can start the day with a breakfast on the sunny terrace or in the dining room, before you set out to explore the alpine surroundings. All products including delicious jams, yogurts and the well-known Valaisian rye bread are of local origin. Wireless internet is available free of charge in the Edelweiss hotel.
