A very familiar place with nice, personal and helpful treatment. The room is simple but totally ok and clean, the breakfast is spectacular and obviously prepared with love (and especially for cheese). It is in the second row to the lake. You can drive close to the hotel with your reservation to un/load your luggage, and as I have a big car, the owner even drove my car to a free outdoor parking just a short walk from the hotel.

My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel over the Easter weekend. We were impressed with the service and staff’s attention to detail. They noticed one morning I was eating an orange at breakfast, then next day they brought me a peeled cut orange with coffee. When we asked for bike rentals, they had the bikes ready shortly, each already adjusted to our heights. We travel a lot and have stayed at many nice hotels across the world, the service here is just impeccable. We love how friendly and cozy this hotel is, with nice family vibes. We would definitely stay here again whenever we have our little getaway in Ascona.
