The hotel has a very nice atmosphere - a 19th century villa with big windows and a lot of lights, hard wood floors. It's conveniently located in Engelberg village. We haven't seen any staff, but everything was very smooth - the reception is unmanned, an envelope with a key was waiting for us when we arrived, the staff was responsive via messages. There is also a lovely kitchen for hotel guests.
United KingdomReserving the sauna in advance would allow for a nice private spa experience. Location is perfectly close to the slopes. Staff is super friendly.
