About this property

Located in the city center next to the small Suze canal and the pedestrianized shopping zone, the Mercure Biel hotel is easily reachable on foot from the main station. The rooms provide a private bathroom, a mini-bar and a hairdryer. The hotel offers free access to the sauna and fitness area on the top floor. All rooms are air-conditioned and have free WiFi. Enjoy seasonal cuisine and fine wines from all over the world in the Barrique restaurant. For a good whiskey or a cocktail visit the L'heure Bleue bar, open until 02:00 in the morning. Biel is located approximately 90 minutes from the international airport of Zurich and Geneva. Bern is just a 30-minute drive away. All these airports are reachable by direct trains from Biel station, which is only a 10-minute walk away from the hotel. The 3 lakes region (Lake of Biel, Lake of Murten and Lake of Neuenburg) with its countless vineyards is popular for cruises, bike tours and hiking holidays.
