United States of AmericaBreakfast was delicious and lots to choose from and the view of the Matterhorn from the breakfast area was jaw-droppingly gorgeous! The hotel staff was super helpful. David gave great recommendations, helped up book lunch reservations on the mountain, and even packed a breakfast for us when we had to check out before breakfast opened. The location of the hotel, a short walk from the Matterhorn Express gondola and right next to the red line bus stop, was perfect. Taxis are expensive but its a short walk (10 minutes) into town and the bus is free and runs every 15-20 minutes.

Front desk personnel was exceptional. Helpful and quite knowledgeable on local history. Not ski to/from accommodation but that is rare in this resort.

The honor-system beer fridge was also very welcome after a long day of traveling, and breakfast was surprisingly comprehensive.

Mountain Paradise in Zermatt has a sauna and a steam room. Quiet surroundings and views of the Matterhorn Mountain can be enjoyed at the property which is located in the Winkelmatten suburb.

The Winkelmatten Bus Stop is located in front of the property. The Klein Matterhorn Cable Car can be reached on foot in 4 minutes. The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise Cable Car Station is a 5-minute drive away. Zermatt is a car-free resort.

- Hello! We had booked the hotel for 2 night but we where wondering where is best to leve our car ? And how do we get to the hotel?As Zermatt is car-free, you must leave your car in Täsch. From there take the train to Zermatt. From Zermatt station take the free bus or a taxi to the hotel. We recommend Taxi Schaller. Special rate for our guests CHF 20.-Answered on 17 August 2022
