SwitzerlandThis was the best room we stayed at for our 10 city 2023 winter vacation. Very spacious and comfortable room. The lighting and light fixtures gave the room a wondeful "vibe." It is also located about 20 feet from the funicular stop from the train station, make sure you get off at the "Lugano" stop, not at the Lugano Paradiso stop. 1.3 CHF per person for the funicular, but easier than hauling your bags and luggage. The shopping area is all around the hotel. They even had complimentary soft drinks and water in the mini-fridge that was re-stocked each day, a first for us in Europe. Felt like a 5-Star hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions.

The 4 star Superior Hotel LUGANODANTE - We like you is located in the quiet Piazza Cioccaro, in the historical heart and financial district of Lugano. It offers free WiFi and a Ticino Ticket containing discounts, free admission and free use of local busses and trains.
The hotel has been fully renewed in summer 2020.
The rooms at the LUGANODANTE - We like you are air-conditioned and soundproofed. They include a Full HD TV up to 43", a kettle with a selection of teas and coffees, as well as complimentary water from the mini-bar and some soft drinks.
Every morning we serve a rich breakfast prepared by our Flamel Bistrot Team with the highest quality. Most of the products are coming from Ticino or Switzerland.
Lunch, Dinner and the Mixology experience at Flamel Bistrot and Cocktail Lounge are a must both for hotel guests than for local people. It is considered the place to be in Lugano.
A private parking garage and valet service (subject to advance booking) are available on site for an additional fee and offers 3 charging stations for electric cars. The electric charge cost depends on the KvH needed. The exit of the A2 motorway is a 5-minute drive away (upload on GPS Via Motta). The hotel is surrounded by shops, cafés and restaurants and the lake is only 3 minutes away. The LAC cultural center, the Palazzo dei Congressi and the university are easily reachable on foot.
A funicular takes guests directly from the hotel to the train station every 5 minutes.
The entire property is non-smoking.
