The Alpenhof is a family run guesthouse, it is situated in Stechelberg, a peaceful alpine village at the end of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and an ideal starting point for many summer, winter and adventure activities.
We are a simple mountain house with basic facilities and offer budget accommodation for individual travellers, families and groups. The simply furnished rooms have panoramic views of the Bernese Alps and surrounding waterfalls.

The Lauterbrunnen Valley is well known for it's famed 72 waterfalls.
We are situated at the end of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the gateway to one of Switzerland's UNESCO world heritage sites.
It is a very quiet and peaceful setting, the house is situated at the base of the Alps and surrounded mostly by farmland.
Attractions nearby include the Mürren-Schilthorn cable-car, Jungfraujoch railway, Wengen, Klein Scheidegg, Grindelwald, Trümmelbach waterfalls and a variety of summer walking routes and winter sports.
