This is a wonderful town. It is particularly wonderful on a clear day. I would recommend the boat-trip on the lake at sunset. There are lots of travel agencies that offer full-day tours in the region. I did one called Huilo-Huilo and it was absolutely great!ChrismateFrance - 8.0Scored 8.0

Town is small enough to go around by walking. Lots of restaurants and bars. Dining in restaurants is not cheap. Beach is nice and clean, sand is very rough though. Sandals or shoes are recommended to use. Water is bright and clear. View is nice with mountains and lake.

A lovely spot but a culture shock after you have been in the wild areas of Patagonia. Very, very busy when we were there, parking is difficult. If you like fast food, plenty of noise and watching people you will love it. Personally I couldn't wait to get out

Carolina was so friendly and helpful - to the point that she drove us around town trying to find someone to get us up to the ski resort the next day! We don't speak Spanish so Google translate came in handy but she was very patient with us! Lovely hostel with communal kitchen and cosy lounge downstairs.
