it was a wonderful treat, staying on a beautiful biodynamic vineyard. The setting was gorgeous in the Casablanca Valley and we had such a lovely room. The dinners were superb and the staff incredibly helpful. We had half board which included the dinner, but it also included an extremely informative and interesting tour of the Vineyard and winery, and then the winetasting to follow. It was very interesting for us to hear about how a biodynamic vineyard works. The grounds of the hotel are extensive, well laid out and full of beautiful flowers and trees.

This is a brilliant vineyard, the bio dynamic tour is really interesting, it's so different to the other vineyards. The passion they have for the full circle methods of growing vines shines through, it's really innovative. Our guide Ignacio was amazing, we learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed our tour and tasting. Our room was very comfortable, nice decor and good bathroom. Lovely lounge too. All the staff were excellent.

Property info

The La Casona Hotel, with 10 exclusive guest rooms, is located in the property’s traditional manor house (called a casona, in spanish). It was built in the early 1900s and has been completely remodeled and decorated in the elegant and sophisticated colonial style to offer our guests excellent personalized service. During their stay, our guests can enjoy our Tours & Excursions services, discover unique scenery rich in native flora and fauna, and learn about our organic and biodynamic agriculture and even taste its influence in a guided tasting of our Matetic wines. All of this, plus excellent cuisine in our Equilibrio Restaurant.
