Jim and Henriette were two great hosts! Both of them were very friendly, helpful, they gave us all the info we needed. We had two great dinner in the hotel with local food that we bought outside together with Jim. They also organize very interesting tours but unfortunately we had not the possibility to participate. Our family room was large, comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. The location is the best possible, very near to he center but out of the confusion.

中国This is the kind of hostel you want to take with your travels. We stayed here for one night and actually didn’t want to leave. Jim is a very nice host we had some drinks with him along with the other hostel guests. He prepared some local snacks and nice tibetian Schnaps. It was probably one of the best hostels I stayed in overall.
ドイツThe location is perfect: five minutes by walk from Dali ancient town. From the roof top you have a great view of the whole city, mountains and the Erhai lake.

Outstanding peaceful view from rooftop deck. Plenty of ice cold refreshments for our teenage boys and adults. The owner Jim has a nice majong table and taught us how to play this fun game with our boys and his teenager who happened to be home from school. We also booked a outstanding tour of local villages and markets that took us away from the sometimes busy and tourist based area of Dali. Good WiFi, able to get some laundry done. Helpful in booking onward travel with lots of knowledge regarding surrounding areas of yunnan.

Jim's Tibetan Hotel is a 15-minute drive from Cang Mountain and a 20-minute drive from Erhai Lake. It takes 30 minutes by car to Dali Railway Station. Dali Airport is about 45 minutes’ drive away. Airport shuttle service is provided.
Offering fiery red sheets, all rooms come with a cable TV, an electric kettle, a fan, a work desk and a seating area with a sofa. The en suite bathroom has a hairdryer, free toiletries and a shower.
Guest can store their luggage and exchange currencies at the 24-hour front desk, book tickets at the tour desk and then rent a car/bicycle to explore the beautiful Dali on their own. A garden and a sun terrace are available for guests to relax and enjoy the lovely views around.
