The property itself is very decent value for your money, but what made our stay exceptional was the english speaking concierge George. He brought our experience to a new level as he always knew the best activities for any given weather and day. He knows every attraction around the place and will secure you better prices than you can get anywhere else. If you want to do anything special like a boat trip, he is somehow able to arrange things within minutes. I would book the hotel again any day to have an exceptional concierge like him.

Very nice landscape - impressive mountains - Tian Shan and the park. Verry Chinese organization for millions of tourists. Limited space for individual "advanture". I intendet to cycle to the Tian Shan mountain, but this was not permitted and secured by a guard. Nevertheless a interesting place.

Walk on the glass brigde + VR + Zipline
Before I going out the building to Glassbridge I book ticket for Bungee Jump 260m. It's the highest bungee point in the world now (20/1/2024) amazing expirence of mind. I can see around the canyon, VR is woderful , Zipline is Safe and bueatiful sight seeing, then I slide my body down to lower floor, it was fun like I'm back to be teenage. there is many activities. but if you can walk out after 17:00 you should book taxi to pick up you back to downtown.
Tianmen Mountain was bueatiful , but last time was heavy snow so I can't see the view from top of the mountain. in my 3rd time to travel this place. March - April is the best time to visit.

You should plan to stay a minimum of 5 days in Zhangjiajie.
You should plan to stay a minimum of 5 days in Zhangjiajie. Day 1 should be spent going to Tianmen Mountain - stay in the Hamptons by Hilton Hotel right across the street from the cable car ticket. Day 2 go to the east side of the park and stay at least 2 nights. One day can be spent visiting the Glass Bridge, Grand Canyon, and if time the cave. Day 3 go to the northeastern side of Zhangjiajie Park. Take the bus to the 2nd stop and then hike up (don't take the little train unless you want to) and then continue about 4 km up stairs to the top of the mountain. Come down by cable car and then bus back to the east gate entrance. Day 4 can be spent bussing and hiking 7.5 km along the river inside the park to the western side. Stay the night just outside the park on the western gate. Day 5 can be spent visiting the north western portion of the park by bus, cable car and hiking down to the river (avoid the elevator if possible) and then hike along the river back out of the park. Day 6 visit the southern portion of the park by taking the trail to the yellow village in the mountain. Hike up or cable car, and then hike down or cable car down.

A must see place in China!
A must see place in China! So much to do everyday in the park or you can just relax and enjoy the fresh air. Dos: The cable car to the top peak is well worth it, half the peak is empty if you want some great views and photos as most of the crowd is at the five fingers. Don'ts: Glass elevator, not worth in my opinion as it's a short ride up and not many look out spots at the top.

oh my God, how to start, I could say that Zhangjiajie was one of the best place I ever been. I am a nature lover, and if you are like me, there is a AMAZING place to be, all the hiking that I've done there worthy a lot. many breathtaking views.
Had an excellent time during my stay. The rooms were very clean and modern. Staff is also friendly and helpful, as they provided me explanation on how to make my way through Tianmenshan and Zhangjiajie National Park (Avatar Mountains) and I was picked up and dropped of at the airport. They also provided delicious food. The location is ideal, as it’s close to both the airport and Tianmenshan. Would definitely stay here again.
(The quality of the photos is not so good as I took a video, but Booking won’t let me upload this)
This hotel is in a great location for visiting the Zhangjiajie National Park. A short walk from the hotel takes you to one of the quietest entrances to the park so you can avoid massive crowds and queues.
The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful, providing walking routes and tips for the all the scenic areas in Zhangjiajie. They also helped with booking tickets and transport.
The food at the hotel is tasty with quite a few dishes available.
I would stay here if I was visiting Zhangjiajie again.
Carol and her family were amazing hosts, making our stay very comfortable. Their cooked breakfasts and dinners were delicious and very reasonably priced. Location is great - only 10 min to the West entrance of the Zhangjiajie National Park. We stayed for 7 nights and Carol was great with helping us plan our routes each day. Rooms were a bit basic and could do with modernising, but clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this home stay! Rooms
The location is perfect, it is only need couple minutes walk to park entrance (300 meters) . The room is lovely and clean well. Super friendly people run this boutique hotel. The fruit tea can refresh myself quickly after hiking in mountains for long day.The Service is super and the staff will help buy the park entrance tickets and get help with everything you need. I would love to come back here for my winter trip to the National Park.
Great location, surrounded by breathtaking nature in close proximity to one of the entrances to the national park.
Staff were extremely helpful, professional and nice.
They took care of booking the different activities and arranged all transportation needed in an extremely efficient way.
I loved my room, beautiful, cozy and with an amazing view.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region.
Very grateful for everything. 🙏🏻
Our stay at Nvue Resorts was great. The room was spacious and very comfortable with amazing view on the mountains. The breakfast is generous. The hotel is very well located, 10 minutes walk from one of the entrance to the national park (Wulingyuan) and with small supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff is very nice and helpful. They helped us book tickets and provided itinerary recommendations. Highly recommended!
Yaya is a very gracious host. She answered all our questions and helped us with any problems we had.She even picked us up from airport without any charge. The location was great, with lots of food options around, close to Tinmen Mountain and bus station where you can take bus to Zhangjiajie National Park. Good value for money, highly recommended.
The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to the Zhangjiajie park entrance but away from the bustle of Wulingyan town. Rooms were nicely decorated and spacious with views of the mountains. Staff was extremely kind and helpful, both in helping us find good hiking routes in the park and surprised me with a cake for by birthday!
Wally's House is a few minutes' walk from the bus station from Zhangjiajie City and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Wally was very nice, and he even let me do my laundry for free. He gave a map and guide/routes for the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Also, u can go to many shops/ restaurants around and walkable.
Amazing experience here with Rebecca the owner. She is so kind and will help you to go through the national park. I spent the chinese new year with her and his family, very great experience. 😍
Around 8-10min from the hotel to the Zhangjiajie gate entrance ! pretty close.
The breakfast was okay. A lot of variety and the quality was solid. There was a noodle stand offering hot noodle soup which was quite good. I got a suite so it was roomy. The location is great facing the cable car station and with a lot of restaurants around the hotel.
Good place for the money. Wen is an amazing chef, i had very nice dinners. Also he helped me to install many Chinese apps and to get the ticket for the National Park. You have many options to eat or buy around there. Taxi to city center is about 7-12 yuan.
Homecooked meals are very tasty! Noodles soup for breakfast was delicious
The room was really comfortable, and the hotel is immersed in the mountains, very close to the south gate of the National Park (they provide free transportation to it)
The views from the hotel were amazing and peaceful! The staff went above and beyond with our needs and was very thoughtful. There are activities to participate and cute pets to play with. Super close to the national park (5mins away).
Location is great and the host is super friendly. The accomodation is very cool.
Food was also aaaamazing.
The host helped us with planning the route in national parks and drove us everywhere.
Everything was 10+
The owner was very kind and very helpful. Helped with planning our trip to the national park and booking train tickets. There was a lot of space in our room.
