I stayed for a week this July - I got a free upgrade, the rooms were clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient and central, as it is right next to People’s Square and the line 8 Metro stop is literally 30 seconds around the corner. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Housed in a 80-year-old building, it combines contemporary decor and traditional Chinese accent. Featuring free in-room internet, it provides a restaurant, fitness center and rooms with a bathtub.
Metropolo Classiq, Shanghai, YMCA-People square is a 10-minute walk from the bustling Huaihai Road shopping center and a 15-minute walk Nanjing Road shopping center. People's Square and Shanghai Museum is a 10-minute walk away and Xintiandi entertainment and bar area is a 20-minute walk away.
