The swimming pool is a bit small to my taste !

I booked a room with a river view at the Westin and the view was as spectacular as expected. The room was large, clean, and the air conditioning works well and silently. The bed is also very comfortable and the internet connection is fast. There is a swimming pool, a sauna and a hammam available.

The beds here are so western comfortable. New massage chair in our suite. It was all really nice, with an unbeatable view. Though a little expensive, the suite with lounge access was a nice retreat.

Great hotel, with nice outside terrace bar, friendly staff, good room. The swimming pool is clean. Breakfast could be better... we didn't find it was very fresh for the cake / bread part. Breakfast was ok but could be better... we didn't find it was very fresh for the cake / bread part.

We found the room over-heated, despite getting the window opened and turning the heat off. However, this may not be a problem for others.

The view across the Yangtze River was superb. We enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast, which had a lot of delicious choices to make. We also enjoyed the Club Room experience, again, the views across the Yangtze River were amazing. The Heavenly bed in the room provided a decent night's sleep- very comfortable. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. Wonderful!

Room service attendant on the second night was very rude and didn’t greet , didn’t take dirty plates away , little disappointed .

The staff was amazing and very friendly , from the moment I arrived, taking my temperature with a smile , checkin , and when I ordered room service ,checkout , and ordering a taxi .

We were on the tail end of Corona/Covid, so the lounge offerings were sparse. But they tried. And they were enough.

Staff was amazing. We had a suite with the executive lounge access, and the details in the room were fantastic. A few things weren't comfortable for us, but the staff did everything they could at all cost in order to fix what needed fixing. I can't say enough good things about the helpful staff. Also, the bed. Oh, the bed. Perfect!!!!!! And the river view. Loved it all!

Hot water for tub

Second time here. Excellent in every regard, bed linens, quiet, spacious, view, great bathroom, but the hot water was very slow to fill my bathtub. Would stay again

I was upgraded to a beautiful room but my experience at this hotel was not very good. The room was too hot, with the temperature maintained at a stifling 23.5C, and my request to have cooler AC was dismissed. My strictly non-smoking room had been smoked in and smelled of cigarette smoke. The breakfast buffet is poor - too few tables, plates not cleared, not great quality food - and in general dining was poor at this hotel. I was at three catered events at the hotel, at which four vegetarians were invited. There was literally nothing for them to eat and they were given a small bowl of plain rice - I totally understand that vegetarianism is a western cultural construct, but so is “Westin five star hotel”, so the hotel needs to step up. The room service pizza was pretty grim. They need to sort out the room temperature and in-house catering before I’d stay there again

Service in the hotel was great, and the swimming pool is very beautiful. Great views from the hotel of the Yangtze River and the stunning evening light show on the river
