The staff is very friendly and hardworking. We liiked that they coordinated the transportation to and from the island on their own boat. As it would be difficult to get anywhere else once there, we liked that all meals were included. You will definitely not go hungry. Very attractive grounds and we liked our private garden bungalow. Beach area looks nice although once in the water the bottom is not smooth sand. So we liked that there is a large salt water pool. Great snorkeling very nearby. We did snorkeling with a guide and massages that were both surprisingly inexpensive. They handle a lot of day guests and overnighters efficiently. Overall you get a lot for the money. For the boat ride back to Cartagena they took a slightly longer route to avoid high winds and rough seas. We actually loved it because we got to see flora and birds along the river and other boats along the canal.

The staff were excellent and the food was good, too. Jorge in particular was always eager to make sure everyone was well taken care of. After the day trippers left, it was a very tranquil experience. The place would be a 10 without the day trippers.
