The location of the place is pretty good, you can take just a bus or take a walk to really good and beautiful places.

It’s like a giant treehouse climbing up the hill, which is cool. As with everything in the mountainous area, lots of steps! Our room was simple but clean, and they even let us pick from a few rooms on the fourth floor when we arrived. The family was super helpful. It’s a 12min walk to the main gate of Parque Tayrona. You can store your suitcases with them for just 5.000 COP. What a deal! We ordered breakfast the night before since we were leaving early for the park. Breakfast was good, and it was amazing that they were able to have it ready at 6:30am. Our room didn’t seem to have hot water, but since there wasn’t AC, that makes sense! Who needs it? The fan above the bed worked very well for staying cool at night. Overall, the location and owners are fantastic (very patient with my rudimentary Spanish), the space is cute, and the price really can’t be beat.

The staff is unbelievably accommodating and kind. They made sure we had everything we needed for our overnight in Tayrona, Tayrona entrance is walkable and they stored our bags for free. We ended up staying here 3 nights in total. They even arranged our taxi to the airport for the cheapest way possible.

The staff is very kind and offered to serve breakfast even on the days we were not staying here. The breakfast with pancakes was one off the best breakfasts I had in 4 weeks, amazing! location wise it lays inbetween the two entrances of Tayrona and they offer really cheap luggage storage if your staying an extra night in Tayrona.
