The wildlife at your balcony is truly amazing. Staying in the main lodge the first night we saw hummingbirds, squirrels, agouti and coati along with many other stunning bird life. The staff in the restaurant/bar are friendly and welcoming and the food and drinks are good standard. We stayed the second night in a seperate lodge as a forrest room and this had the most amazing glass shower overlooking the forest as did the balcony. Both rooms were very spacious, very comfortable beds and luscious amenities. The brewery on-site was a big bonus to unwind after a days activities and has great views of the garden and lake with loads of bird and animal life.

Just one night here. Very old school traditional but with all the excellence that comes with that. The room we were given was absolutely beautiful with a huge balcony over looking the forest. The breakfast was very nice but let down by very slack service, ( the only bit that let the Belmar down.

Absolutely loved this gem of a hotel. The photos and website don't do it justice. It was chic and the room set up excellent. The food was great and the staff very helpful. Really appreciated all the little touches such as the coffee set up and the fridge full of goodies. The balcony was beautiful. Even nice sheets. Really up there as the best hotel of our trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived and had a wonderful lunch looking over the beautiful view, to the farm tour, then a dip in the jacuzzi, then more great food :). The staff was very accommodating for every request. We took a driver to the Cloud Forest and Curi Cancha… both fantastic experiences!

I stayed in two different rooms in the Chalet building and both rooms were beautiful. They were really comfortable, the views are absolutely amazing and the rooms feel really private. The grounds are also gorgeous and there’s a lovely little microbrewery where you can enjoy a cocktail or a home brewed beer overlooking the gardens and pond. The service is excellent from the front desk to the restaurant/bar - all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I don’t think the pictures do justice to how nice this hotel is - I would consider it to be a 5 as opposed to a 4 star.
