Delicious breakfast, unbelievable views, cozy room, friendly staff

David and Fabricio made our trip great! The animals were more accesible here at the hotel than in any of the nature tours! The view is nice, and the best part is the easy location. Parking was ok too. This isn’t a fancy place but for a couple nights the beds and accommodations are perfect for crashing after a day of fun. Don’t miss the breakfast it’s great! I do speak Spanish but Senor David is so nice he will try to communicate no matter what! My kids (11,14,16) loved this place. The monkeys like to wake up around 6:30 so….they wake you up too. But they are funny enough so you don’t mind too much.

☺ - Our room was wonderful. It was spacious with a fabulous balcony overlooking the mountains and a great view. We could see all the way to the Pacific Ocean. The beds were comfortable and the room was larger than other places we've stayed in. The room had huge picture windows which made everything feel like we were in the forest. The staff were gracious and accommodating. Sophia and her family are awesome. Mom prepared a fresh breakfast daily in the lovely breakfast room. There isn't a restaurant so they help make reservations at local places. Monteverde is all steep hills and we are older. We chose not to drive at night. The staff called for taxis whenever we needed them. They also called to arrange our excursions. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Every morning the monkeys, the coati and aguti would visit the area in front of the hotel. It was exciting to see them up close. I would recommend Flor de Bromelia. We really had a wonderful time.

This hotel was just charming and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. They provided a lot of info about the area, including tours, restaurants, and shopping. Our room was lovely, with windows on all sides and a great view. Breakfast was delicious and was served in a comfy, charming dining room. During breakfast, our host also offered repast to the wildlife, attracting Coatis, Agoutis, and birds whose companny we enjoyed while getting some tuly fabulous photos. The hotel was centrally located close to both the town and the National Park. We also were close to El Jardin de las Mariposas and the Children's Eternal Rainforest, both well worth visiting.
