It’s small with a good pool and restaurant and located within easy walking distance to a fantastic and quiet beach. The beach is great to learn surfing or to run along and to watch great sunsets and pelicans fishing.

Villa No. 4 is a luxurious bungalow in a beautiful garden, with a great pool. Clean and superbly furnished, with a well equipped kitchen and a nice outdoor seating area. Superbly friendly staff at the reception.

Hotel Cantarana was AMAZING! The place is fantastic, a bit far from Tamarindo center (but that's what we wanted! Calm and peace) The food was OUTSTANDING, we were incredibly impressed. My partner is French and I am Italian so we are fussy about food, this place definitely exceeded our expectations. Coffe machines in the room were the cherry on the cake😉

Its very private. Only 5 rooms - which is perfect. Very good food in the restaurant. Only once they were lacking some ingredients for breakfast ie. vegatables, fruit. Close and private beach - meaning no people so you get this feeling & this is amazing! Staff is helpful and nice - the reception is in another hotel building-100m away so best is to contact them via whatsap- and this works perfect.
