We loved our stay at this lodge in the forest. We booked only 1 night but could have definitely stayed longer. We felt at home, the host was very friendly, the facilities were clean and great. We loved falling asleep and waking up with the sounds...

This rustic place was part of just 2 cabins and had great birding and cute dogs on the property that escorted us to the nearby waterfall (be careful on the rundown stairs going to the falls). It didn’t bother us to have no air conditioning, the...

Middle of the rainforest sits their cute little wood cabin. There is not glass only mesh windows which is nice but a bit loud in the night with animals and rain. The washroom is clean with warm water shower that requires a bit of tinkering to get....

What We Are • A place where nature lovers can experience the lifestyle of a local Costa Rican family, learn about sustainable practices, and find rejuvenation amidst extraordinary biological diversity! What We Offer • A private Ecological House surrounded by forest. Designed with love and creativity by owner Wendy Brenes, the lodge balances sustainability, comfort, and a rustic feel. • The Eco House is fully furnished with stove, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator, hot water, hardwood floors, hammocks, clothes line, etc. • This beautiful home is located on a 2 hectare (5 acres) farm/family property, 200 meters from the host’s family home. Here you may enjoy the beauty of nature and abundant wildlife around you, the tranquil environment, and the welcoming hospitality of your hosts. • Just outside, or from the balcony, you may see toucans, parrots, trogons and even Great Green Macaws flying close by. You might well hear the sound of the manakins dancing in the day time. Fall asleep to the melodies of frogs and the calls of owls. Walking to the main house, you could even meet some frogs by following their croaks as they jump away at night!
