We loved our stay at El Silencio Del Campo! The staff were lovely and greeted us with a delicious tropical juice! The cottages were very private, clean and comfortable. The beds were the most comfortable we had in Costa Rica! The hot springs on the property were beautiful and made our stay very relaxing. The hotel has a small farm on the property and we loved having the chance to milk a cow and pet the horses. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

United KingdomThe grounds of the hotel are lovely. The cabins are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. They are each on their own little plot and feel very private. The hot springs are absolutely stunning; there are 3-4 hot spring pools and a jacuzzi sitting in lovely surrounds. There’s also a bar at the hot springs serving very good cocktails which were reasonably priced.

I love the farm, all animals are so well looked after and allowed to browse free in the hotel gardens too. Loved Bella, the pig 😁. I know where are multiple hot springs in La Fortuna but it’s just a bliss to go onto your own after a day of hiking. Lady at the bar makes great juices. I totally get the comments on the place being overpriced, I do agree with them. I’ve paid the most for this stay but I feel I’ve paid fairly for the hot springs and the farm with all the cute animals on site. The only thing I would change is the amount of nights spent here: I booked 4 and it was too long for La Fortuna. 2-3 nights is sufficient in my opinion.

Great for couples looking to have a quiet home close to nature and town without being in the buzz. The hotel managers and personnel are amazingly welcoming and efficient in helping you. The spa and massages were sensational.
