Great location. Nice room, paper thin walls though-so can hear everything in the next room! Bathroom a bit small and dated, but clean. Friendly staff

We slept well and even had to turn off the fan at night not to get too cold. A taxiboat to Tortuguero costs 1500,- colones (5min) and there's always a boat waiting. The pool was great as was the pool bar. We even saw a sloth on the private jungle walk next to the hotel. If you realize that you're in the middle of nowhere this place is fantastic. If you don't want to be in the middle of nowhere you shouldn't travel to Tortuguero at all. Great stuff, what an once in a lifetime adventure!!!! Thank you!!!

It's a really beautiful location, it feels like you are staying in a botanical garden. So many birds and flowers. We saw (and heard) monkeys.

FranceFoods were EXCELLENT! I highly recommend guests not to waste eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner in town. Terrible, waste of money, & expensive. We wasted our time & money eating several restaurants. We then decided to eat only at Pachira lodge all remaining meals.

The pretty Pachira Lodge is located 5 minutes’ boat trip from the entrance to the lush Tortuguero National Park. It offers an outdoor pool and sun terraces, as well canopy tours and green turtle spotting.
Set in a 34-acre estate, the hotel offers spacious rooms with vibrant décor. Each has a ceiling fan, screened windows and a private bathroom.
Massages services for a charge, as well as guided tours, bus and boat transportation from and to San José City with an additional fee. In summer, you can also spot green turtles laying eggs nearby, arrange canopy tours and sunset boat tours. Free Wi-Fi at the front desk are on offer.
