Highly recommended. We searched for places to visit in CR and Santa Teresa came up highly rated. Then we searched places to stay and Hotel Tropico Latino came up first. That was absolutely true! Amazing place, gorgeous beach, wonderful staff, very comfortable room, and great town. We even contact them in advance about transfers and they gave us amazing advice. Will go back.

United States of AmericaBeautiful location. Hotel and restaurant on the beach. So nice to hear the ocean every day all day... Loved the jungle environment of the hotel. Can walk to both directions on playa Carmen from the beachfront. Very natural, and saw monkeys, iguanas, butterflies and lizards. Hermit crabs! All of the staff was very friendly. Especially loved the restaurant/bar servers and food was delicious! Very good menu items. Seafood Sunday and Taco Tuesday menus were fantastic! Wonderful venue for yoga with a view of the ocean. I took a yoga class or stretching class daily. Wonderful yoga teachers, and the spa was great also. Had a very good body scrub and facial! Highly recommend Hotel Tropico Latino- wonderful all inclusive experience! Great location for day trips to other beaches and waterfalls as well.

I truly couldn’t say enough great things about this hotel. Also, the location was perfect! So central to all the best restaurants and everything we needed. United States of Americait took us a few hours to get used to this property as it was our first ‘jungle’ experience. the spacious room was furnished with dark wood and it looked a bit spooky to us. however we quickly got used to our bungalow and really loved our stay here. the small kitchen are was appreciated as we could make our our breakfast, tea and coffee. the small grocery shop is just opposite the hotel, it’s very handy. the situation is exceptional- right on the longest stretch of silky smooth beach imaginable, with surfers to admire. I loved the daily yoga sessions right on the ocean, the teachers were excellent and kind. all in all we highly recommend this hotel to other travellers
