The location was perfect right next to the castle, center and pond. The area was calm and the room was big and fully equipped. The bed was comfortable and we slept really well. The eggs at breakfast were delicious. There was a lovely area outside with a table when the weather was nice. Overall, the place is really lovely.

Breakfast was plentiful. Staff was helpful and kept buffet stocked. All good! We checked in after hours and the restaurant staff checked us in easily and quickly and kindly even though they were in the middle of the dinner rush.

This is a cyclist's paradise! There are countless trails that come and go around the complex system of lakes in this region. Each day you can go in a new direction, and come back to the lovely town of Třeboň. The architecture and ambiance of Southern Bohemia is historic but never overstated. Trebon is one of the most beautiful little towns in Czech Republic. It is renaissance marvel, with large Chateau, 3 squares, and landscape full of huge lakes (medieval-renaissance fishponds). Definitely worth to stay. They are famous health spas there.

A lovely town to walk around with lots of interesting little shops and restaurants. There a plenty of walks nearby and it's close to lots of other interesting towns. It is famous for cycling and I can see why - very flat and lots to see in the surroundings.

Trebon is a small town, but beautiful one.
Trebon is a small town, but beautiful one. The exteriors can be walked in half a day, but then you have the great surrounding countryside. August (or July, for that matter) might not be the best months to visit if you do not enjoy loads of people (and bikers, if you take them as a separate species :-)

Třeboň is a beautiful town and great for walking, cycling, eating, ice cream, swimming, going to the spas. It’s a great place to relax and do lots or do little. It’s easy to get around and cycling seems to be the preferred mode of transport.

Absolutely beautiful small town, a real gem and worth stopping off to visit it if you are in the area. Not a lot to do in the town itself, but Trebon is close to the many lakes in this area, which are well worth a visit. This would be a good place to cycle round the lakes.VeraUnited Kingdom

We traveled with bikes as the area is fantastic for it and the hotel has a good place for bicycles and good parking spots as well. The surrounding area is quiet, with a lot of trees, and is cute. Breakfast is out of this world. Besides the normal bread and cereals, you have full fridges with juices, milds, yogurts, etc, you have food for allergenic, good coffee, cakes, sweets, and even protein shakes. One, if not the, best breakfast I ever caught in a hotel/pension.

We had the exclusive use of a communal kitchen as there were no other guests for our first night. The kitchen would have been small for half a dozen guests, but was perfectly OK for us. Comfortable beds, very quiet location in a small village 5 km from Trebon. Very friendly, welcoming and informative hostess who speaks excellent English. Parking fine, wifi OK, absolutely no problems, a great place to stay.
