Dům v zahradě is located in the center of Písek and it is a private accommodation in a quiet garden house surrounded by trees. It is possible to do barbecue in the garden, or just relax in the shadow. The house is within walking distance of all attractions of the city and its surroundings. The house provides all the facilities to spend a pleasant holiday or business trip. Two separate bedrooms are equipped with a total of 4 comfortable beds with the possibility of flexible arrangements (single beds or double beds), which can be extended by an extra bed for another person. There is also a spacious living room with a library, sofas and a beautiful view of the garden. The kitchen is ready for cooking, including an espresso machine. In addition to a fully equipped bathroom with a bathtub, there is also a second separate toilet with a sink and a washing machine. The access passage of the main house allows convenient storage of bicycles or other equipment for exploring the surroundings. There is free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with O2 TV application with a possibility of watching back or renting an interesting movie. And yogis can use our private yoga studio for their practice.

My name is Bára Ratajová and together with my husband and two children we live in a house in a quiet street in the wider center of the royal town of Písek. When you pass a spacious passage of our house, there is a garden divided into two separate parts. In one part, there is a stylish ground floor house – Dům v zahradě. Its location, spatial design and shading from the surroundings offer sufficient privacy, comfort and tranquility for a couple or a family with children. We believe that Dům v zahradě provides a pleasant base for travellers who are looking for a place for their stay that provides all the benefits of the city and the proximity of nature and everything our region has to offer at the same time.

In the center of Písek, I definitely recommend families with children to visit the Sladovna Gallery, where entertainment, imagination and art are always taken care of. The Písek Mountains are walking distance from the house and there are many trails, ideal for a forrest walk. There are also three ponds and a park with fallow deer. At the highest point there is the Jarník lookout tower and at the Živec cottage there is also a nice rope playground. In summer, the Plovárna u Václava pool is amazing. Children can swim in two pools with slides - a smaller one with a mini slide or a larger one with a super slide - and swimmers swim in the river. The beautiful footbridge of Dagmar Šimková is also worth seeing. Through this footbridge you can cycle along the river Otava up to the picturesque Putim, see the old bridge and visit the local mini-zoo. In Písek, city bikes can be rented in many places. There is also a beautifully renovated library with cosy work corners, nice children's department and great café Upekla. For coffee, something small to eat and a drink in the evening, go for Az na pudu cafe of Travel Cafe. For pizza I recommend Pomodoro near the church, for beer U Reinerů pub.
