The room was an average size for a twin bedroom and the bathroom was quite big, high ceilings throughout. Breakfast was amazing, quite a lot on offer and a few items were changed each morning. Staff was friendly, accommodating and happily guided us through the city map on things to do and see.

The check in process was very quick and we had the option of paying in KZN, Euros or with a credit card (however, you'll pay more than the advertised price due to fees). The rooms were spacious with high ceilings. There were robes and chocolate waiting for you in the room and the bathroom had mini toiletries available.

The room walls was not sound proof, so we can hear everything from next room to us(especially when our next room neighbors decided to have karaoke party). Or someone decided to take a shower above us.

The room felt a bit small. Like too cozy. But I think it is possible to pick a bigger one.
Very central in the new town, but also a walk away from the old town. Quite clean and the staff were polite and helpful as expected. Great breakfast. The room contained all the facilities. Quite good money for value.

Heating in the room was not great! As the window is so big the cold could be felt if you were in that’s side of the bed

the heating stop working in the first night and it was really cold, the next morning there wasnt any hot water and they didnt fix any of the problems, so we left afternoon, they didnt gave us any compensation and charged for full night. the room is new and look clean but there was human hair on the bed and on the towel

We did not like on the 1st night we had no Electric for a couple of hours then the next morning we got up to have a shower to find we had no hot water this went on from 8am until the next morning - Not acceptable in a large 4* Hotel. The Room did not get cleaned the 1st day as we left the do not disturb sign on the door ! The next day they just did not bother to clean the room when the sign was removed - Very shocked by this. Our 3 night stay was not a good experience and I would not return or advise others to return. Apart from Mohammed all the staff need a lesson in customer service.
The Location was great very central to the square and the old town was only a 15 minute walk. Mohammad on reception was wonderful - All the other staff should take some customer service lessons from him.

We kept our bathroom towels because they have a green policy, we were happy to oblige. On our last night however, when we got back to the Hotel, our shower towel was dirty, maybe caused by the cleaners shoe etc. This was not much of an issue per-say as the front desk was happy to provide replacements. I would simply suggest a second check once housekeeping is finished with each room, just to make sure everything is acceptable for the guest.

Sadly the staff wasn't very polite.
The location was perfect and the room was very clean and comfortable. All in all the breakfast was also pretty good and offered everything you need.

Very impolite staff, not good at English. The parking system is very bad, they give you parking places at other location, some far away, and if you have a larger car (SUV) you cannot lark there and they give you the option of public parking, like you couldn’t do this :)

Great location, about 5 mins from centre. Nice and quiet, rooms were comfy and clean. Staff were lovely and helpful, especially Mohammed from Egypt! He was always very friendly and helpful and would chat to us whenever we passed reception. A lovely stay- we will be back!
