The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale façade of this Bohemian city intact.
Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.
Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.
The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Beautiful architecture and the people are amazing. You wont miss a thing of a big city, while being immersed in history and charm. Walk, Walk, Walk! You will find every corner of this city amazing. Go on low season, when there is not many crowds, but you will still find plenty of people around.

Prague is an incredible city with its special vibe.
Prague is an incredible city with its special vibe. We as a parents are happy to have so many opportunities for kids. There are nice places just to walk but also good restaurants (Tiskarna restaurant) and patisseries (Creme de la creme ice cream is top). Transportation is also easy wherever you want to go.

4 days weren't enough to see everything, but I'll definitely come back (3rd time). Absolutely visit the Prague islands to see and feed ducks, pigeons, swans, and nutrias. If you like animals, go to the Prague Zoo (keep in mind, it's large and will take almost half a day to walk around).
Absolutely visit the National Museum, Sex Machine Museum, and the Medieval Torture Machine Museum.
Try the "Fat Cat" restaurant and Kozlovna Apropos. At Kozlovna, order Goulash in bread (trust me)!
Getting around Prague is extremely easy. The city center is just a little town itself and you can walk everywhere. The public transport is timely, comfortable, and affordable. And if you don't want either of those, just order Bolt.
I would avoid wearing uncomfortable shoes. Definitely opt for walking shoes if you're going to visit Prague.
Locals know English, but some might struggle. Some taxi drivers knew more Russian than English so keep that in mind.
Prague is a vibrant, lively, energetic, and quiet city. I LOVE visiting the place and will come back again, and again, and again! I absolutely recommend it to everyone, especially those who appreciate historic monuments, cool gothic architecture, nature, animals, river views, and great beer.

The city - especially the old town - is charming, and there are plenty of things to do and see.
You can get around Prague easily by foot. You could take the bus/tram, but it's quite a busy city, so you'd be stuck in traffic.
We loved the schnitzel & potato salad at Hospoda Hajnovka (Vinohradská 35/25, 120 00 Vinohrady, Czechia).
For smokers, there's a great shisha (water pipe / nargile) bar called Cloud room (Mánesova 59, 120 00 Vinohrady, Czechia).

I absolutely adored Prague!
I absolutely adored Prague! I purposely stayed in the center, near the castle because that is what I wanted to see every single day I spent in the city.
Being up hill was a killer for my poor shape, but boy did the views make it worth it!
Prague is a gothic gem, while visiting I had so many ideas for a fantasy book which kept on being fueled by just looking at Charles Bridge and the castle at night.
The location is very convenient. It takes 15 min walk from the Old Town Square, 10 min walk from the Wenceslas Square. There is a tram stop in front of the building. The apartment locates in a renovated building nearby Mosaic House Hotel, where the reception is available. All the amenities are available in the apartment: washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen. There is a common dryer on each floor. The housekeepers are very nice and keep clean the room everyday. If you like, the hotel also provides bicycle for free.
The location couldn't have been much better, we walked almost everywhere. The Astronomical Clock and Old Town Square were just around the corner. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged for a car to pick us up on arrival which was a nice change of pace after taking trains all over Germany. It was only 390 CZK so not super expensive. The room was large and clean, breakfast was wonderful. We arrived to a welcome note and chocolates. If I visit Prague in the future this will be where I stay again.
The building and room were excellent, beautiful, clean, and historic. The building is right next to the Charles Bridge giving easy walking access to castle hill. It is also a quick walk from the old town square. The bus runs right outside and the metro station is only a few blocks away. The breakfast may be the best complimentary breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was perfect. Can’t say enough good about this hotel.
Lovely hotel perfectly situated near to the Old Town square. Lots of restaurants nearby, train station within walking distance. Staff were all very friendly (especially John who works in the bar/restaurant). The breakfast buffet is amazing with lots of choices. The bed in our room was so comfortable and we slept really well. Bathroom provided shower gel/shampoo/hand soap/body cream which is handy if you didn’t want to bring your own.
Lovely hotel, rooms were spotless and large. We booked a triple and we had plenty of space.
Breakfast was good with a variety of choices.
Hotel is close to the Old Town, took us about 15min walk to get to the Astronomical Clock.
Plenty of small corner shops around.
An exchange is close by and the rate was the best we could find compared to city centre. As you turn right going out from the hotel you'll find it in about 300-400m.
Our room was amazing!!! The decoration was so elegant, and the whole hotel was gorgeous. The breakfast was super because we wad so many choices that they kept as strong for the whole day! Everyone was so kind and helpfull! The location was 10/10 because it was 3 minutes away from the Charles Bridge and 5-10 minutes away from the old town Square. Also they cleaned our bedroom every day and they used to change our towels and the bed!
Perfect in all ways, Location was next to the Old Town Square in a beautiful courtyard, the room and bathroom was very clean, comfortable and very stylish. Breakfast was also excellent with a very wide range of food available. The service in the hotel from checking right through to leaving was first rate.
This was the 11th hotel we had stayed in in a period of 6 weeks in the US, UK, Ireland and Czech Republic and it was the best.
I guess you can't get any closer to the city center for a reasonable price. The apartment is just next to the old town square, but as the apartment is oriented to courtyard it's also super quiet. Like absolutely. You won't hear a single sound from otherwise busy streets, not even on Friday night. Our apartment was spacious and provided us all the "luxury" we needed for our stay. And so I don't forget, the host was great as well!
The location of our hotel was truly exceptional. Located in the heart of the city, it offered unparalleled convenience to iconic landmarks such as Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. The vibrant atmosphere of nearby shops and restaurants adds to the overall charm. Additionally, easy access to public transportation enhances the overall experience, making it an ideal choice for exploring the beautiful city.
A small hotel on a narrow stone street in the old city center. We had a great 3 nights in a room with a loft. It is close to the Old Town Square in the north and Mustek Metro Station in the south. Not far to the east is the Central Station, and a ten-minute walk to the west is the Vltava River. It is very convenient to view the scenery, eat, shop, and take transportation.
Wonderful location, right in front of the astronomical clock, it is a spectacle to see the people who gather in front of the clock every hour. Tip: The hotel is in a pedestrian area, the closest driving point is Paris street and the old town square, right where the Cartier store is located, then you just have to walk across the square with your luggage to reach the hotel.
This is one of the best hotels I’ve been too! It was beautifully decorated, super comfortable, the staff was so attentive and helpful and the breakfast had so much choice, it was great! Brilliant location too, in a lovely quiet area with great cafes and places to eat but only about a 4/5 min walk to the Old Town Square. I’d definitely recommend it and stay here again!
Breakfast had a great selection and was very good food.
The room was spacious, clean and had air conditioning. The beds are also very comfortable.
The hotel was located very close to major tourist attractions including a 5 min walk from Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and only 15 mins from the main train station.
We had a great stay here
The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable
We appreciated the free parking right in front of the hotel.
The lady at the reception was helpful and very polite
We enjoyed the breakfast, it was good for a 3 stars hotel.
Great position, it took us 15-20 minutes to get in the old town square.
Very good location on the edge of the old city very close to old town square but far enough away not to be too noisy. The hotel is a very beautiful art deco style building from the early 20th century. Breakfast was a very good mix in a very nice setting.
Excellent central location only a few minutes walk from the Old Town Square and close to the Metro and tram stops. Peaceful without much noise despite the city centre location, as the hotel is located on a side street away from main roads.
Prague is a beautiful city to visit with fair prices and great services. The hotel is nice and cozy, just within minutes from the old town square. The breakfast is amazing with a wide range, and the Staff is simpli the best I’ve ever met
Lovely art nouvous style hotel located in the old town area of Prague. Excellent location only 5 minutes walk from the Old Town Square and close to all other amenities.
The location couldn’t be more central. It’s a nice little hotel located at Havelske Trziste - markets just in between the Old Town Square and Wenceslas square.
