Medieval town with very nice city center. You can visit Cheb castle, town's museum (spent 3 hours there!), retro museum, multiple churches and monasteries or you can tak a train and in few minutes you're in bath city of Františkovy Lázně, or SOOS. Lot of castles and castle ruins around and if you get bored by western Bohemia, you can visit Germany, as border of tone throw far.

Cheb's chief attraction is its main square, full of beautiful old painted houses. I visited in May, and though there were tourists about, it wasn't overcrowded. Nor was it overpriced - coffees, restaurants and delicious Italian ice creams were very good value.
The town is well served by public transport, the main station being less than a 10 minute walk from the famous square.
Gentlemen! I strongly request to get my money repayed for this absolutely unhuman conditions of living.
All rooms has no toilets аnd washstands . Only joint facilities in the end of a long corridor.
All night long there were coming a crowds of a drunk German visitors . They were so noisy and aggressive that we were had to call to police.
My family did not sleep at all.
Just to save your reputation as a proper service , you have to rdelete this point from an offer.

The time we spent on our trip was great, the historic center of Cheb is wonderful with lots of other attractions, as well as other places in the area. We had all the comforts in the hotel, the apartment was spacious and well furnished, the breakfast was always very rich and varied in a beautiful environment with pleasant and attentive staff.
Excellent room: nice, fresh and clean. Lots of handy facilities. Owner was very welcoming and pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend Penzion u Vlčkú if you are planning to stay in Cheb. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to walk to the main railway station - it is easy to find.
The area was nice, the small lake with fish was amazing, our little boy liked it a lot. There was also a tennis court, playground and swimming pool with jacuzzi. And generally hotel is very clean and cosy.
A nice hotel halfway between the train station / bus terminal and the city centre. A surprisingly comfortable, well-equipped room. We decided not have breakfast at the hotel as Cheb is full of nice cafes.
A really good conversion of an older building. The accommodation is spacious and modern. I liked the breakfast options. The location is excellent for the historic core of Cheb, and handy for transport.
First day - staff were nice and all spoke english begore they had a hotel representative ripping me off and locking me inside the hotel !!! What kind of a law system is that that allows this?
Emily (the host) is a very kind and responsive person. We felt welcome. The accommodation is big and the location is great (just 2 minutes walk from the castle of
Cheb).
