Unfortunately, it was quite dirty and there were even some bugs, of which 2 I had to remove from the bed. The bed itself was also not really comfortable.
The breakfast was ok and the lady at the reception was very nice! :) it was also quite close to the train station.

There is a bar right next to the pension. More often than not I could hear what people were talking about from the bar downstairs even after midnight. The WiFi needed fixing. It was like non-existent.
Very very nice staff. Breakfast was pretty good. On a few occasions, a member of the staff would serve freshly made omelette or scrambled eggs and bacon straight from the kitchen. It had that warm feeling of staying in a family run guesthouse.

I wouldn't recommend this room to anyone. The carpet in the room was the kind that you would see in an office. Part of the shower door was missing, the baseboards were also missing and you could see the glue from where they had been still on the wall. You could see through the sheets that were on the mattress, they were so old they must have been washed a million times. I've been to some pretty terrible hotels before, but at least I knew what I was paying for. We paid about 200 kc (about 8 USD) less than for a standard hotel that we normally go to when we go to Plzen. We just wanted to try a different place to compare it to. It was a huge mistake. I don't have such high standards but this place is just bad. The people and breakfast can be as great as at the Hilton, but when the room is a roach motel, I have to say that to be disappointed is an understatement.
The location is in the city center, only a 5 minute walk from the "hotel" to the train station in one direction and the main square in the other. Outside the hotel looks quite nice, the breakfast area is also nice, but once you get into the room- yuck. Anyways, I'm supposed to talk about what we liked. The breakfast was pretty good if not standard. They had hard boiled eggs, salami and other cold cuts, cereals, tea and coffee. It was completely fine. The staff was great, they left us the key code to pick up the room key and were friendly when we checked out.

The fact that one of the frame slats on the right side of the bed was broken. (Room 5) This makes you fall in some sort of pit when lying in the bed. The minibar was broken. And the amount of wall sockets was just not enough. The shower didn't have a wall mount.
The breakfast was nice, my friend and I liked the hotdogs very much!

It was really noisy at night because of huge traffic. Antica is located in a busy street and near train tracks. It wouldn't be a big problem in winter (closed windows), but in summer it's really annoying. But fortunately they offer also some quieter rooms.
Antica has a perfect location. It's only a few- minute walk to the main square (Namesti Republiky). Antica is a good choice if you travel to Plzen by train: you go there on foot from the railway station only 10 minutes. Which is really nice, they offer breakfast included in the price.

There were no shops nor bars open around the property. To eat something at night, I had to go to the city center, which is not far but still requires 5-10 min walk. The way from the central station to the property wasn't very easy at the first time.
The location is nice: near to both the central station and the city center. The breakfast was nice: it wasn't a poor breakfast only with bread and drink, but more "substantial" foods. The staff was helpful and speaks very good English. The facilities are clean and functioning well.

Very close to the train tracks, so might be noisy because of trains passing by (depends on room location).
Very friendly hostess. Good breakfast. Location near city center.

Well placed guest house, located near the center of Plzen and 30 minutes walking far from the Lochotin. On our early arrival, we had been much friendly welcome and given at once our room, so that we could begin our Plzen holiday without problems. Cleaned and confortable room. Varied breakfast. Good price-quality value.

Very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast. I recommend at this price for the room is very good. The more so because there is very close to shops restaurants and clubs within a 5-minute walk.
