An awesome place to travel, for families and loneley...
An awesome place to travel, for families and loneley travellers as well. Hiking, biking, climbing, old german culture or just relaxing. This area is the best place for things like that. The nature is awesome, deep woods, mystic and huge sandstone formation, little rivers... here you can find everything of that. A magical place with old tiny locations, nice old german food and a good public transportation! Do it and enjoy it :-)

We stayed in room 7 which is on the top floor and has a balcony overlooking the river. It was the perfect size for me and my friend. We could've easily stayed here for an extra night. The hotel restaurant had pretty decent food too. For a cheap, no frills spot, I would highly recommend.

But the first time when I arrived during a huge thunderstorm without electricity etc. No problem for the people at the desk at all. Creative, fun way how to solve the problem. For an additional fee, you can order breakfast - 13 euros per person ( not included). Also near the hotel is a kiosk where you can buy sausage and potatoes, beer and more. Good service who speak English (both reception and in restaurant). Parking 3 eur /day. Good location if you came by car to visit a national park and area and don't plan to walk too much around the hotel itself.
