Excellent service for my Insulin box, since the room had no fridge. Easy additional breakfast booking right at my redecision on the moring. Unfortunalely HanseDom is not longe part of the booking as years before.
This hotel is a historic building beside the harbor in Stralsund. It offers a historic façade and a clear view of Stralsund’s Old Town, the Strelasund waterway and and the island of Rügen.

Location near ferry and aquarium is great. Room is large, area quiet at night (early September, weekday).
Directly on the promenade, this historic hotel in Stralsund Harbor offers its own shipping pier, excellent spa facilities and maritime-themed rooms with a view of Stralsund Lake or Old Town.

Gorgeous building, nice staff, great location, nice to have the coffee roasters on site. Would have been nicer to have a fridge and coffee machine or water kettle in the room.
Located directly beside the Stralsund beach, this 3-star hotel offers cottage-style rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi internet, a free wellness area, and free use of local public transport.

The location is good in the central Harbour area, with a view over the Harbour from the window. The the room was not large but sufficient and reasonably comfortable. Parking in a nearby park g gagage.

It's one of the lesser attractive hanseatic cities but they always try to offer more. If you go there, expect little. I would recommend to visit Stralsund for slow travelling. One or two relaxing days are enough to enjoy the city and your life. This is what Stralsund is giving. Most activities, restaurants and visitors are in the old town. You can take every public transport quickly to get down town. The biggest tip is the Ozeanum which has its own bus station.

Stralsund is a nice large city with a harbour and beautiful old town. Compared to the other cities we visited in North Germany it was the one with the most entertainment and good stores. I do recommend it for a two day stay

Stralsund is a really pretty City with a port, an old city centre, many museums, a clean big beach and a direct connection to the pretty isle of Rügen which you can visit by train, bicycle, car or you could even walk there over the impressive Rügen bridge.

Poor tourist information on the town and on the Internet.
Poor tourist information on the town and on the Internet. The accommodation provided no brochures and there was nothing at the railway station where most people arrive. Rugen is very close but there was nothing to help getting around it.
Very (child-)friendly and chatty staff members. The area isn't the nicest but the property of the hotel felt like an island in the midst of the concrete. The breakfast was nice and sufficient. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed down and if you are hungry at night there is just one local restaurant. There is a small garden and a green path to the train station. A bus station is nearby. Parking a car is easy on the hotel property.
This is a gorgeous hotel in an old building. My room was spacious and comfortable and full of character. The staff were very helpful and brought my bags to the room and drove me back to the station when I left - I hadn't realised but they can also pick you up if you request! The attached restaurant has outstanding food and a gorgeous historic interior. I can't recommend it enough and would love to come back!
Across the street from the train station, this hotel was very convenient for us and offered good value for money! Comfortable beds in a big, high ceiled, pleasant and clean room. Breakfast was basic but good. Be aware that the downtown area is some distance away. We had bikes but otherwise you're in for a longer walk or a bus ride.
A bus ride from Stralsund town, but right across from the Stortebecker brewery and delicious dinner at the Stortebecker Gastehaus. Our room at the pension was attractively decorated, and the breakfast was the best food we had in two weeks in Germany. Much care was taken to anticipate and provide for whatever guests might want
The hotel was surprisingly comfortable, and located quite well not far from the main city's attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff members. Lovely breakfast, everything served fresh. The room was warm, with a nice view at the city centre. Sauna is a great option, and we appreciated the reasonable price for it.
The hotel is quite awesome. Great location, just a couple of meters from the train station, and 3 or 4 steps from the bus station. You can walk to get to the parks, the lake, and the Old Town. The staff is really really polite and helpful. Definitely, I will book again when I come back to Stralsund.
Hotel Hanseat is a lovely location, walking distance to the old town and the port, but in a quiet residential area that was was peaceful and made parking the car easy. Also, the bed was so comfortable! Fast wifi too. Great path along water into town. Stralsund was much prettier than expected.
The house where the hotel is located is super cute and in a very beautiful location. A true boutique hotel. The view of the bay from the window of the room was worth seeing and the pleasant sea breeze brought refreshment to the room.
The breakfast was good too.
The hotel is within walking distance of everything. There are buses nearby to get to and from the station. My room was ready early in the morning. It had a nice color scheme and a fridge. There were a few TV channels in French and English available.
Elegant and cosy hotel in the absolute center of Stralsund. Easy parking Great room, lots of space and charming hosts and a fine breakfast in elegant surroundings.
Extraordinary good value for the money.
Water view room. Very bright and airy. Free bottled water. Nice hotel bar and an attached bar/restaurant. This hotel is close to all the tourist attractions, yet it is still in a quiet place.
