The four of us were placed in a top-floor apartment-type room which was nice and big, with a balcony patio area right off our room. The view from balcony was really lovely. Especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and fridge which held "pay as you go" beers, waters, and sodas. Was very nice to have a cold beer after a long drive to town. There is parking in the rear of hotel for very nominal price of 5 euro, but we were able to find free street parking just up the lane since it was a weekend. Will definitely return! Great location. We met the lovely woman owner - her grandson is now running the hotel and speaks great English -- and is very welcoming and friendly!

Central location yet quiet Good breakfast with the cute and tasteful theme of rats. Comfortable whose angle (both on the side of the head and feet) can be adjusted with a remote. Reasonable price.

The rooms were so well decorated and comfortable. Love the Pied Piper theme throughout the entire hotel. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was wonderful! Don’t hesitate to book a stay!!!

A great hotel right in the middle of Hameln's adorable Altstadt! The staff was friendly, the breakfast was delicious (and Covid-safe), secure parking (and bike parking) was available, and the family room with 3 bedrooms was wonderful (although if stairs are an issue, note that it on the top floor). We had a great stay. Wish the weather had cooperated and we could have enjoyed the roof-top patio for longer.

This is a lovely hotel, with some odd and quirky features (in a good way). Lots of references to 'rats' and that all make up for a nice touch. The owner was very helpful and accomodaing on our arrival. We were able to park the car directly at the back of the hotel - but it was tight and I'm pretty sure is only available on a first come/first served basis and as such cant be booked in advance - this worked for us on our trip but best to be aware. The location of the hotel is superb very very central in the old town area. The bedroon furnture was different and interesting and added to the quirkines of the hotel. Despite it's central location it was very quiet and we really enjoyed our stopover. Breakfast was good - and I'd be happy to reccomend this accomodation.

Very friendly staff and a very good breakfest. We booked for a family (3 pers) and got the upper room but it was more an appartment and was surprisingly big with a small living room and 3 seperate rooms to sleep thus room for 4 people. Very ideal for familys!!
