It really was a delightful place to stay comfortable friendly warm easy to get to everything was fantastic only thing I can think of was that perhaps the shower could be changed slightly it wasn’t terribly easy to use, it wasn’t a big problem at all but it might be nice to been able to take the shower handle off the pole!

We loved the location and the proximity to a number of towns...
We loved the location and the proximity to a number of towns of interest. We found the accommodation very enjoyable with great views from a private terrace. The only thing that would improve the stay would be the offer or option of some basic supplies eg soap in bathroom and a few kitchen supplies eg milk, coffee. The property offered all the best appliances but for a short stay it would not be practical to buy everything we needed.

Bad Kohlgrub is not a special place to visit. We only stayed there because it was relatively close to where we wanted to go (Steingaden, Garmisch-Partenkirchen) and the price was ok given how expensive that region is.

Great little village with its own charm and ideally located...
Great little village with its own charm and ideally located near Oberammergau, Schloß Linderhof, and Ettal Abbey, but without all the of the tourists and crowds that lodging closer can bring. We just happened to be there the weekend of a music festival which only added to the experience. Only stayed for a long four-day weekend, which is plenty of time to get to know the village, relax, and make some day trips to nearby attractions.

I could spend months here!
I could spend months here! It’s a place everyone has to visit- the nature is unbelievable. I’ve never seen fireflies at night. It’s normal to swim in open lakes and climb mountains and cycle everywhere. The produce is fresh, farming locally and the sun is shining. What more could you ask for? Nature lovers paradise, with the experience of a rural Bavarian catholic lifestyle on top! I would advise picking up some German though, because local restaurants are not all English speaking during the summer. Ask for local vegetables at the market- they have ones special to the region!KeeleyUnited Kingdom
