If you’re visiting Dusseldorf in February, you’ll witness the bright parade of Carnival. If you visit in July, you can take part in the Largest Fair on the Rhine. No matter what time of year you visit you will find a city bustling with festivals, art, music and museums.
Much of the action occurs in the Old Town, otherwise known as the Longest Bar in the World due to the amount of cafes and bars serving a dark beer called “altbier”. The center was faithfully reconstructed according to the city’s foundation walls after the Second World War and offers a historical insight to the city.
Museums range in exhibitions from history at the Stadtmuseum, to fine art at Museum Kunst Palast and even to a museum dedicated to mustard. If shopping prevails over culture then head to the Königsallee, a picturesque strip of high-fashion shops set alongside a tree-lined canal.
With Düsseldorf International Airport located only 12-minutes from the city center, Düsseldorf is a great German vacation destination. Booking.com makes your holiday even easier with over 200 hotels, apartments, and other accommodations to choose from.
everything fine just confusing pincodes. There where 3 pincodes but it was not clear which one was for what? One for the entrance, one for the room and one for parking. It took 10 minutes before we could go through the parking. We tried the 3 pincodes, none was working but the it seemed that you had to press another button, which was not mentioned.

A very well-connected city with excellent public transport.
A very well-connected city with excellent public transport. You can forget about the car. Hassle-free access to the most important attraction - the fair complex (Messe Dusseldorf). Moreover, the shopping promenade is worth visiting.

City of Engineers. There are places for culture lovers.
City of Engineers. There are places for culture lovers. There are many different ways to spend your free time. There are enough places to eat, enjoy a glass of beer or wine. TV tower, exhibition center, BOOT2024 just great!!! I moved around the city on a scooter. Because all the places are so close.

Interesting city, but travel there by train is horrible.
Interesting city, but travel there by train is horrible. Train network itself is good, but the trains are constantly delayed, often by hours, or even completely cancelled. The problem is with the whole Düsseldorf/Köln area.

The city is quite peaceful. I liked the vibes of the city. I travelled there with my friends and had good time. The weather was awesomely nice during our stay. It was raining so we could not explore the city as we expecting to, even though it was worth.
Hope to visit again with the family ..... soon

Perhaps overlooked due its proximity to Koln, this is a great town. If visiting, stay at hotels in the Heinrich Heine Allee train stop area as that is where all the good stuff in Dusseldorf is (in my opinion). The Hauptbahnhof is a good location if you are needing to get to the airport quickly.
We were in Düsseldorf for the first time, for Lady Gaga's concert and sightseeing around the city. We choose Ibis hotel because of it's location near the airport and Merkur Spiel-arena. Hotel is new, comfy and nice with friendly staff. Especially miss Hilder on reception :) Breakfast was also good, there was a lot of things to choose, worthy to have it before day in the city. Bed was comfortable, shower was big, everything was clean.
The hotel is in the ideal position, near the city center and Dusseldoft Central Station. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel for five days of working at a large trade fair in Cologne. Still, everything became more accessible with a few steps to the station to take ICE, local train, or other places in the city with S-Bahn or U-banh: comfortable room, good breakfast, friendly staff, and willingness to help.
Hotel located straight to the entrance to Dusseldorf airport. Clean room, comfortable bed, 2 big bottles of fresh water toothbrush waiting for me at the entrance to the room, and also toothbrush in the bathroom (as I got stuck in Germany, I did not have anything for overnight stay with me). Nice view to the patio through the window.
Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. We were in Dusseldorf to visit the Christmas market and not only the staff but also at the hotel there was inof avialable about this. Hotel was very good quality; we had wonderful lunch and the location is easily reachable with public transportation to city centre.
Of all the hotels I've stayed in, and I've stayed in several, it was the best value for money, the most equipped ! The mattress is very comfortable, the pillows are the same and the design of the room is perfect, it was the most restful sleep! If you arrive in Dusseldorf, I definitely recommend staying here!
Modern hotel located around 10 minutes walk from main station- Close to DUsseldorf HBF train station which has a direct S11 train from DUS airport. Quiet rooms and if you are tidy and do not need housekeeping, you can get a free drink for each day you opt not to have daily housekeeping.
I always try to stay at the Medici when I'm in Dusseldorf. It's the best location right in the Altstat and close to all the action. The hotel is grand and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts are really nice buffet style but classy and the food is delicious. Highly recommended.
Despite our stay was really short I have no doubts to come back to in this hotel if I would visit again Dusseldorf. Spacious rooms, nice decoration, really good bed, calm location, just couple of minutes drive to city center and breakfast incredible abundant and delicious.
Modern hotel in a good location near the airport and the city center.
The room was very clean and silent, the hotel is in a quite neighborhood with some restaurant in a few minutes walk.
Good breakfast and coffee.
I recommend it both for business travel and holiday.
Hotel Indigo Dusseldorf is located at an excellent area, close to the old city of Dusseldorf (Altstadt), 2 stops away from Heinrich Heine Alee. There are several good options for lunch and dinner at a walking distance.
I strongly recommend to choose this hotel.
Amazing hotel, good quality bed and service. Right in the city center. Really good! Thanks for having us and decorate my breakfast table for my 30th birthday! :)))
Should really recommend this hotel if you want to visit Düsseldorf
I needed overnight hotel close to Düsseldorf airport. Room was very simple, yet clean and nice. Early check-in wasn't problem at all, the receptionist even made me a reservation for a taxi at 5 AM, which arrived on time.
Good location for the airport, convention centre and the city centre. Clearly a new hotel, as the cleanliness and general quality of the hotel was excellent. With this in mind, the value for money was very good.
Good hotel, clean, spacious room, not far away from Dusseldorf Airport and from Messe Dusseldorf. Good breakfast. Parking (chargeable) located nearby. Nice bar located in lobby.
The hotel is next to a busy streets but at night it gets very quite opposite of the city center were people party late.
Good location 15min to the old Town and to the river.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was good, near city centre. Rooms have kitchenette and air conditioning. Breakfast was cheaper than other hotels' breakfast.
there is no doubt that is the best location of the city. the Hotel is a classic, the rooms are ultra comfortable. The breakfast and the restaurants are perfect.
