Breakfast was excellent. the host was very welcoming and the property spotless. Beautiful renovation and right in the center of a lovely wine village.

    Beautiful old town, well maintained houses, quiet streets. Close to the Main river. Many wine producers in town, but drive to Escherndorf to find the best (e.g. Rainer Sauer). A number of okay restaurants in town tovhchoose from.

    A small but really nice hotel, in the old part of the city of Volkach; most of the rooms look to a smaller side street, away from the noise of the main street. The staff (mother and daughter) are really friendly and helpfull; the breakfast buffet is great, lots of products, marmalades, etc made by the staff herself. On the main street, several restaurants and wine bars (Volkach is situated in a wine region of Germany) give you different choices of meal types and wines.

    This is our 4th visit. There is a wonderfulI sense of peace and tranquility at the hotel and it is a perfect distance between our holiday hotel in Austria and home. The staff were fabulous- so polite and courteous. Every year, we have had to leave before the planned start of breakfast, but we've always been encouraged to go down early and have a good breakfast-this is most welcome. We had a meal the evening we arrived and it was beautifully prepared.

    Excellent location in the center of town with free parking behind the hotel. Very comfortable bed, plenty of hangers in the closet and bathroom essentials (shampoo, body wash, shower caps, etc) provided. Generous breakfast with beautiful fresh and dried fruits, yogurts, cereals, fresh baked breads, cheese and meats with eggs made to order. Exceptionally friendly staff. Hotel restaurant was top quality with delicious local offerings.

    We only stayed at this hotel for one night whilst on a cycling trip. The hotel provided very good secure bike storage and the facilities were clean. This is a modestly priced hotel and the facilities and service match the price paid. The location is super if cycling the River Main cycle path. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, there are several within a short walk.

    breakfast was amazing hosts were very good. we received a warm welcome. the central location of the hotel was great. the room was very clean and comfortable. I normally have a problem with pillows but I had the best nights sleep for a long time. we only stayed 1 night but will definitely return and would recommend

    Right in the middle of a beautiful small town Volkach, this hotel sits. We felt like a prince and princess living in a majestic house from way back. Comfortable, great breakfasts, very helpful staff. They made us feel at home. I was sorry to have to leave after four lovely days.

    Everything was perfect. Quaint old building located right in the town centre. Spotlessly renovated room. AC, WiFi and parking worked perfectly. Great breakfast and to top it off our host Philip who obviously was born to become a hotel manager.
