We only stayed one night and in the winter.
We only stayed one night and in the winter. It looks like there is lots to do during the tourist season, when the mines and stone shops are open. Walking also looks excellent in the area. The local Spießbraten is something to have experienced, not for vegetarians, though there are always veggie options available in Germany now. The local Landbier is good too.

An entire staff that is interested in making its guests feel comfortable, cared for and safe. The managers were very kind and helped me whenever I need it. The room is very clean, practical, a comfortable bed. Breakfast is a very generous and appetizing buffet. I really like home-made things; their jams and beer. A hotel that I highly recommend and that I would love to visit again in a summer.

We stayed as last-minute guests with our large dog who was warmly welcomed. Set against the forest it was very convenient for us to walk the dog and visit old castles along the track. Also if you drive electric there are chargers available within walking distance.

Quaint building opposite the Mineral Museum within a short walk from the train station. Rooms are spacious and bright, beds are very comfortable. Good breakfast buffet in the lovely spacious breakfast lounge. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Schlossschenke.

The street that the apartment is on is not very busy at all so we slept great both nights there, and the beds were very comfy!
