Nice quiet town next to the Elbe.
Nice quiet town next to the Elbe. There is a nice paved river walk. Great shops and restuarants to visit. The brewery was excellant and they have a superb red beer. The food there was very tasty also. Nothing crazy going on there, just a great place to walk around and relax, enjoy some food and beers!!

An incredible German town.
An incredible German town. Most people are driving past it rushing towards Dresden and Berlin, but this medieval town is a secret jewel if you enjoy beautiful places with almost all of the original architecture. I can kick myself that I did not have my camera with me....This is stunning place of magical beauty, houses, churches, fortress walls, towers...I assure you you will not regret spending a couple of days here!

The rooms are comfortable with nice bathrooms. The breakfast is superb with a huge selection of dishes, including some home-made produce. But best of all are the staff: so friendly and helpful. The business plan clearly centres on making guests feel as comfortable and well looked after as possible. I will definitely be back.

We really thought it’s gonna be worst stay according to bookings rating the hotel had. I am confused to this day why the rating is low because hotel was clean, refurnished, staff was really pleasant. Breakfast was lacking variety of food but overall the best thing is value for money. I could not expect more from a small hotel in a small German town for the money I payed.

The hotel consist of several neighboring buildings and has a private parking place as well as garage for bicycles. Breakfast is tasty and sufficient. I had a pleasant stay and I believe so will you.
