Centrally located hotel; lovely breakfast. Evidently there are the larger, nicer rooms in the Alte Schule and the "basic" rooms across the street, which we inadvertently got. However, these older rooms had good pillows, good water pressure, and looked out onto the park (Schloss park) and reminded me of Mullers (what this hotel used to be - now a Chinese restaurant) 30 years ago. Walls quite thin in the basic hotel.

Berleburg is my home town and it's always wonderful to be back and see family and the town. Last time we visited was 10 years ago. It's a lovely area and especially great if you enjoy hiking, want to see the historical Schloss Berleburg, etc. I haven't visited in the winter but I'm sure the area would be great for winter sports, especially by driving to nearby Winterberg.
Great Hotel in the middle of the old part of town. Use to be a school house and was remoldeled inside. Very clean rooms. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. They also have a restaurant with very good food. The breakfast is also great with a view of the town. Even the hotel owner came to every ones table to talk to the customers that were there in the restaurant a very nice touch. Can say only good things about this hotel and me and my wife will return

Located a few hundred meters outside of Bad Berleburg, it offered rural calmness, without being "off". Great combination.
Large, really nice, room with large bathroom. Everything modern and tidy!
Food!!! The restaurant area is of traditional, rustic, German style and the food is inspired by the Greek cuisine. Great breakfast!
For my purposes, the location was great. The apartment is very well appointed with everything I needed for a 4-night stay. Bed was very comfortable. Heating worked well for November in Bad Berleburg. Has full sweep of television stations as well as streaming on Nettflix, Prime, and others.
love the room which is spacious, the view from the room and dining room,, the bed and bathroom (is so clean), the breakfast, the owner who is very helpful and so nice, the scenery around the hotel area is amazing especially for hiking, walking and trekking.
The hotel is placed in the city center, close to the castle, train station as well as the local trails. The breakfast had a wide variety of foods, though almost no vegan options. The staff was extremely helpful! The room was small but very cozy.
Great wee place in the Sauerland. We turned up very late (9pm) and exhausted on our bike tour. The staff were amazing, they quickly got checked in, let us shower, and kept the kitchen open so we could eat. Great friendly service.
