There is nothing much in Briedern, although it's convenient...
There is nothing much in Briedern, although it's convenient enough for visiting Cochem if you have a car. There are much prettier, livelier places just along the river IBelistein) or on the other side (Ediger-Eller). The main road to the town was closed and we had to go back over the river and do a 20 minute detour to get there. This probably won't be a problem at any other time.

Very good breakfast buffet. Good restaurant (with options for vegetarians) and great selection of wine! We would definitely come back!
