In north Leimen where I stayed at the Toskana, it is quite commercial what with Heidelberger zement manufacturing directly in front of the hotel. Leimen town centre is around 20 minutes walk away or 3 minutes on tram, and is a quiet fully functioning town centre. has shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Nice.

The hotel is based in an industrial area, close to the hotel is a cement factory. The accomodation itself looks very nice. It was sad to be informed on short notice (already on our way) that they apparently had water damage and could no longer accommodate us. Arrangements were made for us to stay at a guest house across the road! It was interesting to find that the apartment we booked that had „water damage“ ended up being used by other people. We were informed by neighbors that this apparently happened before as well.

The location is close to the centre of Leimen, which is close to Heidelberg, with everything you would need within walking distance. We could not have asked for a better location and we were lucky to have found this little treasure in Leimen. Overall a wonderful place where we would stay again.
