“Avoid unless you are a night lark.”

BUT, they played loud music in the bar/restaurant from about 9PM until 1AM, which was clearly audible in the bedrooms and made sleep impossible until they stopped, even with earplugs! So, unless you plan to be up late, don't book this place. Also, the windows are large and there is no A/C, so I would avoid in summer for this reason too.
Nice clean and recently renovated room. Decent traditional restaurant and bar.

Thanks to productronica tradeshow the room price was ridiculously high for a cold room with unfuctional heating.

The room was very old and a little bit dirty, (We found some hair on the towel and in the bath), Beds were not ready when we arrived. Some rooms were still in renovation, ... it should not be more expensive than 50€/60€, 100€ is too much for that, at least before the end of renovation.
The location is great, near the road and easy to find, staff is friendly.

The bed was double sized, but there was 1 single bed duvet and only 1 pillow. I slept well, but I would have preferred a bigger duvet and a couple of pillows to feel more comfortable (I enjoy reading before going to bed).

The bed blancket is too small. I know this is typical in Germany, but it is inconvenient - I simply feel that I do not fit under it. It would be nice to have a standard double-bed size blanket even if you visit alone.

Reception isnt 24hrs, and the wifi was a bit fudgy.
Staff were very helpful with the early check-in and early morning check-out, they have an intresting travern like vibe at the restaurant / bar.

Our room a bit spartanic: for 2 people there was only one normal chair and a stool. No comfortable chairs whatsoever.

I enjoyed the whole experience from arriving at lunch time on the day of arrival to leaving shortly before breakfast the day after. Thank you to you all.

After 23:00 on saturday evening not possible to get something to drink, fridge in room smelled and no hot water at 23:30. Bottle of 0,75 l water was 5,30, to expensive
