Nice clean and royal Room with a good bed. The resort has a rich ambiance

We were stopping in the Guest House which is next door to the main hotel which was set off a main road, particularly handy if passing through the area. There is a hotel, guest house & several other buildings attached to the hotel and a nice separate bar/restaurant, which an option to eat a meal there rather than at the hotel. The guest house was like a self entry block of rooms next to the lovely ruins of an old convent type building - functional rather than pretty, but set in a nice location. Room clean with a small balcony, and more than adequate for a one night stop over. The actual hotel has a very impressive beamed restaurant and entrance, welcoming reception staff who spoke excellent English. Breakfast was taken at the hotel, self service, nice food in a lovely dining area. Would stop again if travelling in the area.

The hotel restaurant was excellent both for food and staff. The pub on the site was good for German food and cheaper.
