I love the bakeries. REWE is ideal for shopping. There is a golf course for golf enthusiasts. I think I also saw a horse farm. The transportation system is very good. You can go everywhere easily by public transportation. Although I am a vegetarian, I was very comfortable with the side dishes at the Steak House in Aschheim. I especially recommend Bell's Steak House.

It's really close to Munic centre, only one train (around 20 min) away. We were traveling at the start of Oktoberfest, so it was really busy. We only spend one full day in Munic and the other day we just went for lunch at the Luffy pancake café (recommendation!). The biergarten was really cute and we also had German food which was also nice.

This is a lovely, quiet, well-maintained hotel with a convenient and good restaurant and easy parking. I just mistook its location with reference to public transportation. Very convenient, if you had a car, which we did.

Asscheim is a good place to get a hotel near the S-bahn (...
Asscheim is a good place to get a hotel near the S-bahn (train) to visit Munich. This yields these advantages: You can park your car cheaply or for free, you can get to the city center quickly and back with public transit, restaurants in Asscheim are a lot cheaper. Plus, when you leave for another city, then you can beat or avoid traffic, especially towards Salzburg, sinze it's on the eastern side of Munich.
I loved almost everything! The room is basic but comfortable and very clean and met my needs. The staff and front desk hosts are very helpful and friendly. The hotel price is exceptional and you get a lot for very little and I highly recommend it. They also provide meals for purchase during night hours - that you heat in a convection/microwave oven that were better than store microwave meals. The free parking is also a huge plus. The beds are perfect- they are one mattress - like in USA- not two singles shoved together.
Perfect location for a 1 night pitstop during our long roadtrip because you stay close to the highway. Room was very clean and the kids loved the bunk bed. Being environmentally conscious I appreciated that in the bathroom only certified bio soap/shower gel was provided - great also for kids. Checkout at 12pm is very generous if you arrive late and want no rush in the morning. For breakfast we didn't pay extra, just went to the nearest Lidl which is 500m from the hotel and got hot coffee there as well.
We are used with B&B Hotels network, and we had a better experience here than in our last stay in Wuppertal. Breakfast was far better with the one in Wuppertal and the building was in better technical shape. Free parking and the fast access to highway was the most important detail for us. First receptionist ever in Germany, asking for Covid Certificates - for us was a plus because if all guests were checked same as they did with us, we are feeling better protected ourselves.
It is close enough to Munich to enjoy what the city has to offer, and far enough away to not feel like you’re “in the city”. Its more rural and there are grocery stores and patisseries/bakeries you can walk to and established residential areas all around.
We also appreciated the heated towel rack, it helped dry our towels quickly. The room was clean and comfortable, if a bit tight; and the included breakfast was lovely, lots of variety and the kids loved it.
Everything, the hotel is larger than pictured. We were surprised by how big it was. We stayed in 2 connecting (family) rooms. They were much larger than we'd anticipated! There's a delicious burger and steak joint right across the street. Everyone spoke English, parking was easy. We really enjoyed our stop over to Austria!
Nice hotel with spacious room. The restaurant was open and served traditional food (in the Biergarden).
Excellent brakfast with all sort of stuff pre-packed on plates (due to corona). No need to wear gloves like in some other hotels in Bavaria. Hotel is close to the motorway and good accessable.
I travelled along with my wife and an infant. The rooms are amazing, modern, well maintained and clean. The staff is also very good and cooperative. The breakfast is not extremely great but not superbad either. The room is equipped with a smart tv, which is an unlikely case for most of the hotels
A good hotel and restaurant, comfortable and clean rooms, and good food - both breakfast and dinner. It can get busy, so better to reserve a table for dinner. Aschheim is a pleasant place to stay, with good bus connections to the surrounding area.
The beds were very comfortable, you can open the window all the way. You have shops nearby and you can take everything you need. Solid location. Unlike other hotels, parking is relatively cheap, 10 euros per night.
Lovely clean room, nice breakfast included and staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Great inexpensive hotel for Oktoberfest, only 20 minutes by S-bahn and only 5 minute walk from nearest station.
Clean and nice hotel, check in was quite fast. Staff is helpful. Good breakfast, parking is for fee. Shops are 2min driving, Messe 7min. Stay was comfortable. Thank you.
