This quiet hotel stands on the edge of the Black Forest, in the Flacht district of Weissach. It is a 5-minute drive from the A8 motorway and Porsche's Development Center.
Renningen is easy to get around on foot. It was close to the train station, restaurants and supermarkets. We had two very nice dinners at Schwaben Schaenke Da Angelo, an Italian eatery. This eatery has outside and inside dining. We enjoyed the pasta and spaghetti with family and friends. However, there are many more restaurants in the area which we will have to try out on our next visit. We also shopped at Rewe, Lidl, Aldi and Netto. On several occasions, we started our day by walking to Rewe (750 meters) and having a very good coffee with an exceptional piece of Pflaumenkuchen (plum cake). We also visited Marquardt Blumen Garten, a lovely garden center where one can purchase beautiful plants, flowers and flower arrangements, pots, accessories, etc. for special occasions. We wanted to visit the new outdoor swimming pool in Renningen. Unfortunately, it had just closed for the season upon our arrival. Next time!
The hotel was conveniently located a short drive off the A8 in direction of Pforzheim from Stuttgart. It was modern and very clean. Staff all very pleasant. The room was a good size and very clean.
The restaurant meal was good and plentiful; couldn't finish it.
Overall, I would definitely stay there again.
Good accommodation with very friendly staff. If you don't speak German, speaking in English at reception won't be a problem. Clean room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast with a good variety of choices. The hotel is located very close to the main station, a small supermarket and a taxi stand.
Very good hotel easy to do check-in due to key box with code.
Room size good, clean, with balcony.
Free parking places available in front of the house.
Breakfast can be taken at the subway near the hotel.
Also near the hotel you can find a restaurant for dinner "Südbahnhof Gleis 2".
This hotel is super cozy and exceptionally clean! It smells nice the moment you walk in. Our room was the perfect size for our family and the beds and pillows were like clouds. We stayed to visit Volksfest in Stuttgart and would stay here again next year if we can!
The location is perfect, you can make strolls straight from the hotel. Very dog friendly. The hotel has a nice vibe with a good restaurant. Friendly staff. The room is modern and clean.
location was great. we were visiting friends at Renningen so was easy to walk to their house. close to Sbahn station. clean and quiet. great front desk staff! ample parking!
Beautiful, new hotel. Know however that it’s 12 miles out of Stuttgart by train, and a half mile hike, gradually uphill, through a new and modern industrial park
The hotel was in an excellent condition. I was advised it had been open for 6 years but it looked very new with all the furnishings being in an as new condition
