The staff were great. Shout out to Patrick on reception and the lovely barman. The room was comfortable and I appreciated the full size desk with a proper office chair, plus the mini fridge. Good location, just next to the Rathaus Essen station, or less then ten minutes on foot to the main city station.

GermanyBreakfast was great, room was fantastic. The team at check in were really nice and friendly. The team looking after the dining room were very friendly too. The room was very clean, great amenities, and very quiet. Nice coffee machine :) and a huge balcony which I didn't expect, I thought it would just be a standard small one! This was more like a terrace that went right around the whole room. Wished we were staying longer!

The breakfast was also delicious and the beds were pretty comfortable. The room was nice and clean and had a simple design. Liked how there was a water heater and a refrigerator. Also liked the location of the hotel, was super easy to get to from the tram stop.
