Sibylle was a really lovely host. When we arrived she showed us city and metro maps and offered to highlight places to go. She emailed us instructions to get to the hotel beforehand. The included breakfast was lovely. A u bahn station was around 2 minutes walk away for easy access to the city (€7 for a day public transport pass). The room had really comfy beds and a sink which was useful.

Sybille, the owner who manages this pension is the greatest thing about this place. She makes sure I understand how to open every doors and she even personalized the breakfast. Breakfast is simple but more than enough. You get bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, egg, etc. On my last day I had to catch my bus so early and Sybille even made a takeaway lunch package for me! The place is spotlessly clean, the one who cleans up the room pays attention to every single detail.

Prior to our stay the owner phoned to find out which airport we were arriving at and then kindly sent us some easy to follow instructions of how to reach her accommodation on public transport. The owner greeted us on our arrival, completed the official paperwork and then showed us to our room. She showed us a map so we could get our bearings. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, plenty of coffee with refills if desired. Plenty of fresh bread , rolls and a selection of cold meats and cheeses. Room was spacious, clean and lots of lovely hot water. All in all, perfect base for exploring Berlin.
