GermanyIt was clean and comfortable, I personally don't really mind the noises from outside but it could get pretty loud because our room is right beside the sidewalk/road.

IsraelLocated in a quiet family neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shops about 20 minutes from the main sites of Berlin (totally accessible With public transport), this little pension is charming and roomy. We had a table and couch and bed. Double beds with comforters kind of like sleeping bags. Not quite big enough for my husband but it worked. Communal fridge and tea area AND a gelato store right around corner of entrance. We loved our stay. Recommendation for owner: fluffier/new towels!

United States of AmericaIt had more of an Airbnb feel than a hotel, which is what I wanted for my first few days in Germany while jet lagged. The room was cute and had personality. Location was unparalleled for public transportation, a quick 5-minute walk and you can zip into Berlin Central. Bed was comfy, I forgot about the strange square pillows and small duvet though which is typical for much of Europe. There is a little mini kitchen with a fridge and kettle, along with dishes and flatware, for guests to use. Unfortunately I was a bit unclear about whether I could use this until my last night, because there are no signs which mention this and the housekeeper (who was very sweet but spoke not a word of English) didn't quite understand my questions.
United States of AmericaThe rooms of Pension Parlamento are beautiful and spacious. I loved the overall design of the hotel. It felt very regal. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the room stayed warm throughout the day and night. Plenty of space to store my belongings. Everything was well lit, too. WiFi was speedy and maintained a good connection. I really liked that check-in was earlier than most other hotels and that the location was convenient for both getting to/from Tegel (when it was open) and other places, like Alexanderplatz. Totti was a very nice host. Very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again.
