Having visited Munich previously a few times I'd found the hotels not the best value for my poor little British Pound. What a surprise this was . From the free mini bar, soft drinks, water and a beer to the varied breakfast each morning and finally to the great location. I love to city walk and the hotel is only 20 minutes walk from both the centre and English gardens and 5 minutes to the Deutsche Museum. But is that's not your thing the bus stop into the old town is a couple of minutes away. Rooms are simple and clean, maybe a bit dated but the bathroom appears to have had a recent modernisation.
