This magnificent family-run hotel is a 19th-century castle set in quiet green countryside in the Taunus Nature Park. It lies between Kelkheim and Königstein, a 30-minute drive from Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. The Romantik Hotel Schloss Rettershof was built in 1884 on the site of a 12th-century monastery. The classic rooms feature modern furniture, a flat-screen TV and private bathroom, and some also have a private balcony. A breakfast buffet is available each morning, or delivered to your room.
