I was really shocked at the poor reviews this place received. Yes, the decor is a bit dated. Yes, the rooms are nothing fancy BUT the price is superb for the service and location. The staff was terrific and the view from the room was amazing. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the elevator when we came back after dinner and since we were traveling with my father in a wheelchair we had to check out and stay at another place. The staff was so kind and VERY apologetic. they refunded our money immediately and even offered to help us find another room. If we travelled back to Ulm, I would most definitely try this hotel again. As I said, it is NOT a five star... the hotel adequately lives up to what you should expect from a hotel in this price range.

Needless to say, the price and the location are the best part. The location is in the middle of the old town, right next to the big church known as Münster. And there is everything you need, especially if you come as a tourist to the old center. The price is very acceptable and affordable.

The location of the Hotel was fantastic! It was located on the square where the Ulm Cathedral was situated, along with many restaurants and shops. The stores were very reasonably priced when it came to buying odds and ends, and the pharmacies in the area were great!

WiFi worked very well. Breakfast is charged separately and optional, but avaIlabel until 10 am. The in-house restaurant serves a menu of delicious swabian meals for lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. Superb location in the heart of the city next to the cathedral and yet very welll noise-insulated. 10 min walk from railway station through pedestrian street.
